Neckers That Stand Out From The Crowd

This month, Silverdale Girlguiding tell us their story ‘Behind the Badge’, or in this case, the Necker!

"Well it was a baptism of fire for our new neckers from Tolley Badges.

We worked with the team at Tolley Badges to find the right fit for our 3 Girlguiding units. We knew we wanted a certain colour, we knew we wanted our emblem and we knew we needed a reflective strip.

Not only did they look great but they served a purpose on a very wet and windy (thanks storm Amy) , outdoor pursuits weekend.

With 50 girls to keep track of at an event where there would be 1500 similarly bundled up to max girls, these neckers were an absolute godsend. How many girls do we have on the climbing wall - easy 5, how many girls are with you doing archery - easy 9 .

Those poor neckers did a British army assault course, went up a climbing wall, met with jam butties and ,marshmallows and have washed up a treat ready for a far more respectable remembrance service next month.
